What is the Student Forum?

The Student Forum is a great opportunity for PhD students to present their research work on Power Electronics and related areas and its aim is to get in touch with many international PhD students and recently graduated from universities and enterprises.

May I join?

Topics are not limited but they will match with the scope of the CPE'2011. It is worth to point out that only students can be authors in papers submitted to the Student Forum. Professors are not allowed appearing as co-authors in the Student Forum papers but they are strongly encouraged to motivate students to participate in this enriching experience and supervise the quality of the submitted works.

Student Forum is free of charge for PhD students. Students’ activities will be concentrated in only one day. Students with a regular registration for the CPE’11 will have a free registration for the Student Forum as well.

How can I participate in the Student Forum?

Authors should submit a copy of their full paper, in English, with 6 pages maximum, by e-mail janis.zakis@ieee.org.

Preparation of papers
  • Templates for conference papers are available here: Msword and PDF.
  • Papers must be written in English.
  • Papers are limited to six (6) A4 sized pages.
  • Papers should be prepared according to the IEEE double-column format
  • Main specifications are as follows:
    - Margins: The papers must strictly take the following margins: Paper Size A4, Top Margin 19 mm, Bottom Margin 40 mm, Side Margin 15 mm.
    - Papers should NOT have: Page Numbers, Headers, Footers.
    - Page limit: six (6) pages for regular papers. Over-length papers (more than 6 pages) will not be accepted. Illustrations and references are also counted in the pages.
